Hutch In, Tony Next? (Scout.com)

The Vikings running game got a huge boost Monday with the addition of guard Steve Hutchinson. But the team may not be done yet. Chiefs fullback Tony Richardson has a deal in place if he wants to take it and if it still applies after the Hutchinson signing.

He had 20 tackles, one sack and 17 quarterback pressures in 2005.

Kansas City Chiefs Strategy and Personnel

TEAM NEEDS 1. Cornerback: With the cap-related release of starter Eric Warfield and part-time starter Dexter McCleon, the Chiefs have no proven player opposite Patrick Surtain. Bennie Sapp is a nice nickel back, but he might not be an every-play cornerback. Julian Battle was struggling to prove he belongs in the league even before an Achilles' tendon injury last May knocked him out for the 2005 season.

Lional Dalton Returns to The Fold (Scout.com)

The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed defensive tackle Lional Dalton. Dalton spent the last two seasons with the Chiefs after stints with the Baltimore Ravens, the Denver Broncos and the Washington Redskins. He allows the Chiefs to keep some depth on the defensive line, something the Chiefs sorely needed.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. They currently belong to the Western Division of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL).

Originally called the Dallas Texans, the club was founded in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League. The team moved to Kansas City and became the Chiefs in 1963 after then-Kansas City mayor H. Roe Bartle guaranteed to the team that they would have increased ticket sales. The Chiefs then joined the NFL as part of the AFL-NFL Merger.

The Chiefs hold the distinction of being the second AFL team (after the New York Jets) to defeat an NFL club in an AFL-NFL World Championship Game when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV.
